How to Create Engaging Posts for Facebook
It is time to post on Facebook...again!
You have a new Blog post you want to share.
You copy the URL ( the address in the address bar ) of your recent Blog post. Whatever way your website is set up it doesn't pull the featured image from your post.
Buy hey! at least the link is up there so people can dive in from these blue linked words, right?
Unless your content jumps at someone or your sister is scrolling through her feed, more often than not your Blog post will be skipped.
Every 60 seconds on Facebook: 510 comments are posted, 293,000 statuses are updated, and 136,000 photos are uploaded. (Source: The Social Skinny)
The Implication: Again, there are a lot of engaged and active users, but also a huge amount of information competing for their attention, so quality and strategy on your part matter.
Yup having a great image and how you use it to promote what you want is one of the fundamental starting points for getting more people to pay attention to what you do.
I know what you are thinking...
Jahsis! where do I get great images?
I can't afford a photographer!
I am not a photographer.
Bollox to paying for Shutterstock images...
Do not stress that Creative head of yours. I have created a short training on this subject which was recorded some time ago.
I will show you ...
1. Where to find FREE kick ass images you can use over and over.
2. How important choosing the correct image is to represent your content
3. What NOT to do with your FB posts.
4. How to use CANVA to create all your own marketing material.
5. Two important things to remember when posting on Facebook.
Remember, link your viewer back to the page you REALLY want them to go to and keep it rotating as your business does.
Please share & like if you got some insight from this training.
